THE ROLE

Interdependence is seeking a strategic, performance-driven Director of B2B Marketing to lead B2B marketing for our clients. This role is ideal for a senior marketer with deep expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, demand generation, and integrated paid and organic marketing.

The ideal candidate has experience developing and executing GTM strategies that bring products and services to market, reach the right buyers, generate pipeline, and drive measurable business growth.

This is a mix of strategic and hands-on work for someone who understands the B2B buyer journey, knows how to integrate channels to accelerate demand, uses data to make capital-efficient marketing decisions, and can confidently present recommendations to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Leadership & GTM Strategy

• Serve as a senior strategic partner for a portfolio of B2B clients, providing marketing strategy, direction, and counsel.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies aligned with client business objectives, target audiences, positioning, and revenue goals.
• Lead GTM planning, including ideal customer profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, market segmentation, competitive positioning, messaging, and channel strategy.
• Develop integrated marketing plans that support product launches, market expansion, demand generation, and pipeline growth.
• Translate business priorities into clear channel strategies, campaigns, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
• Build trusted relationships with client executives and confidently present recommendations, results, and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand client programs based on performance and evolving business needs.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to scale traction.

Paid & Organic Marketing

• Lead strategy across paid and organic B2B channels to support GTM objectives and demand generation.
• Oversee paid media strategies across channels, including paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting.
• Guide organic strategies across GEO, SEO, content marketing, and organic social opportunities.
• Develop audience, targeting, messaging, and channel recommendations based on client goals and buyer behavior.
• Partner with internal team members across GEO, SEO, outbound email, content, creative, social, and PR to drive integrated execution.

Performance & Optimization

• Establish and achieve KPIs that connect marketing activity and GTM initiatives to business outcomes, including pipeline generation, conversion, and revenue impact.
• Analyze campaign and channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
• Use data to guide decisions around budget allocation, targeting, messaging, content, and channel mix.
• Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Continuously test and refine strategies to improve engagement, lead generation, conversion, and ROI.

Team Leadership & Agency Growth

• Provide strategic direction and oversight to cross-functional teams supporting B2B client accounts.
• Ensure teams deliver high-quality work with consistency, efficiency, and accountability.
• Contribute to new business opportunities, including GTM strategy development, proposals, pitches, and presentations.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop best practices, improve processes, and evolve Interdependence's B2B marketing capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with significant agency experience required.
• Proven experience developing and executing end-to-end B2B go-to-market (GTM) strategies that drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and measurable business results.
• Deep understanding of GTM fundamentals, including ICP development, market segmentation, buyer personas, positioning, messaging, and sales and marketing alignment.
• Demonstrated expertise across both paid and organic marketing, with the ability to develop integrated strategies across channels.
• Strong knowledge of paid advertising.
• Strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys, demand generation, lead generation, conversion, and marketing funnels.
• Experience partnering with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Proven experience managing and advising B2B clients and senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate marketing performance into business insights and recommendations.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and making data-driven decisions around channel and spend allocation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship-building skills.
• Strategic and creative thinker who loves being hands-on.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, all-remote environment.
